John Tod hails from Scotland where weddings can last for three days, so his marriage to Katy this Saturday at St Dunstans Church in the quiet town of Mayfield in Sussex was not going to be a modest celebration.A large number of the guests plus a ceilidh band had travelled from the north the day before and all were out for a good time.The sound of the pipes brought the town alive, with the locals dancing the highland reel down the main street.
