Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

Verity and Edward's wedding at Udimore in Sussex was the first weekend when the heavens opened and we had non-stop rain. They say ‘‘every cloud has a silver lining’’ and mine was a ten minute break in the rain, which gave me a great moody sky to capture some memorable images.
The forecast had said low pressure and constant rain so I brought large strobe units from my studio and set up an area at the reception allowing me to cover all the exterior pictures despite the inclement weather.

The Perfect Backdrop

Matthew and Heidi’s wedding reception at Pashley Manor Gardens in Ticehurst was planned to perfection from the hand made ceramic table names to the mouth-watering menu.

The setting of the marquee in this quintessential English garden with its sumptuous blend of romantic landscaping,
imaginative plantings and fine old trees, fountains, springs and large ponds was perfect.
